About Maggie Rose

Hailed for her “powerhouse vocals” by People Magazine, singer-songwriter Maggie Rose recently released her widely acclaimed album No One Gets Out Alive.   Nominated for a GRAMMY Award for Best Americana Album, Rolling Stone named it one of the best albums of 2024, raving it’s “dazzling” and “cathartic.” Billboard added it’s “superb” and American Songwriter said it’s “moving” and “triumphant.”

In addition to critics, Maggie has also been praised by the likes of Trey Anastasio, who recently said in an interview with Relix that when he heard, “Maggie Rose knew one of my songs, I almost fell over because she’s amazing…. I’m also so happy to be able to watch all these exciting younger musicians like Maggie Rose.” Dave Matthews called her “incredible,” during his introduction of Maggie when she opened for Dave Matthews Band at the iconic Gorge Amphitheater in September.

Hearkening back to early ‘70s Laurel Canyon, No One Gets Out Alive deals in both dark and uplifting themes– disillusionment in relationships, ageism, female empowerment and living in the moment, among them, with Maggie’s big, soulful voice taking centerstage. Maggie successfully straddles the worlds of pop, rock, soul, Americana and folk, unencumbered by genre specifics. Recorded with a dream team including members of Jason Isbell’s 400 Unit, Alabama Shakes and Gregg Allman’s band, the record was produced by GRAMMY-Award winner Ben Tanner, mixed by Bobby Holland and arranged by conductor Don Hart (Phish, Lyle Lovett).

A respected fixture of the Nashville community, Maggie has played the iconic Grand Ole Opry over 100 times and marquee festivals including Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, and Newport Folk Fest. A true road warrior, she has shared the stage with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Heart, Joan Jett, Eric Church, Gov’t Mule, The Mavericks, Fitz & The Tantrums, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Dave Matthews Band and The Revivalists among others.

Rose also hosts her own podcast, Salute The Songbird, and recently announced a new Season 4, which will be taped in front of a live audience. On the series Maggie engages in candid conversations with her female musical heroes on an array of topics with icons such as Heart’s Nancy Wilson, Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, Martina McBride, Yola, Allison Russell, Ashley McBryde and more.
